The time has come: Alive In The Dead Eye Of The Vortex in now here! We are celebrating the release of our first official live album! It features 11 songs that thrash their way right through our band history – from the very first demo Back To The Roots to our current album The Paradox. Included are classics like Evil Twisted Mind and Baptized In Blood, as well as four tracks from The Paradox. It is now streaming on all portals and you can exclusively get it on vinyl LP and CD in our online shop.
It all began on a rainy Saturday afternoon in 2004: a handful of teenagers meeting in their rehearsal room – a small chamber in a barn in the Sauerland region. Wearing Kreator, Judas Priest and Metallica shirts, we covered the songs of our heroes. That day, the foundation of ERADICATOR was laid.
20 years later, we’re celebrating our anniversary with a special hometown event. Together with the Siegen Vortex, we launched the Evil Twisted Metal Feast in October 2024. Six bands, 250 metalheads, an unforgettable night. And we decided to capture that moment forever.
The album was produced by our longtime companion Jörn Michutta, who also recorded our very first demo. With his mix, he brought the raw energy and electrifying atmosphere of that evening perfectly onto record – powerful, honest and uncompromising. The artwork was once again created by Sebastian Jerke, who brings back the Plaquebringer in a galactic setting for our cover.
Alive In The Dead Eye Of The Vortex will be released as a limited vinyl LP and CD exclusively in our band shop – and of course also on all major streaming platforms.
